The E36 M3 was introduced at the end of 1992. It came available in 1993.
This model had a six cylinder engine with 286 HP. It had a top speed of 250 km/h.
In 1994 the M3 convertible and sedan came available.
In 1995 the M3 received a
small face lift and a new engine. The orange indicators were replaced by clear
ones and a six speed gear box was standard now. The new engine now had 321 HP.

The sedan went out of production in 1997. The coupe and convertible were not
available until 1999. The new E46 M3 was available in 2000.
